2024 Summer Program
of the School of International Education, Wuhan University
I. About the Program
Wuhan University is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education of China, and a key university under China's "985 Project", "211 Project", and "Double First-class Initiative". International summer programs of Wuhan University have been available since 2004 and thousands international students already joined the program.
The program consists of four main modules:
Chinese Language, including integrated Chinese, listening and speaking, reading and writing, and HSK guidance, etc.
Lectures on Culture, including courses on Chinese history, geography, Chinese mythology and legends, poetry, painting, opera, etc.
Cultural Experience, including hands-on experience and studies in calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, Chinese cooking, Tai Chi, tea art, lantern making, etc.
Cultural Tours, including visits to Wanlin Art Museum, Hubei Provincial Museum, Hubei Museum of Art, high-tech enterprises in the Optics Valley, etc.

II. About the Program and Application Requirements
Duration of the Program: June 30, 2024 - July 27, 2024.
over 15 students.
Transferred students: CNY 1,300 per person per week (including accommodation costs, tuition, and fees of basic teaching materials).
Fees for 4 weeks: CNY 5,000 per person (including accommodation costs, tuition, and fees of basic teaching materials).
IV. Application Materials and Procedures
1. The applicants should submit their passports online. Those under 18 years old also need to submit the notarized guardianship certificates and other relevant documents.
2. The applicants should log in to Wuhan University's application platform (http://fses-admin.whu.edu.cn) to complete registration, choose " Short-term Program" for the program type, select " Self-funded " for the support type, and choose "Chinese Language" for the major.
Application deadline: April 25, 2024.
